We try to structure our classes to be able to accept new students who have never danced tango,
at almost any time.

Other interested students who have had previous tango dancing experience, can join our dance school
at any time.
But please contact us prior, so we can determine which class will suit you best, and to arrange a partner, if needed.

And as well as the teaching team, the whole dance school is strengthened by the fabulous group of
taxi dancers who freely give their time to ensure that all students have a partner,
​and can have the best dance experience possible.

All classes and workshops take place at St Marks Hall (opposite the Basin Reserve) nearly every Tuesday. 
If the calendar above refers to a Fringe Bar Milonga, these are held at The Fringe Bar in Allen St.

​​Regular Argentine Tango Classes on Tuesday

Style: Milonguero (close embrace)
The style is typical of the tango danced in
Buenos Aires for the last 80 years.
Non pretentious, traditional, with the emphasis on the embrace and the music.
All classes will include an appropriate amount of instruction on the basics of tango etiquette.

All classes and workshops take place at St Marks Hall.

Beginners Class 7pm - 8pm
Level 1   7pm - 8pm
Level 2    8.10pm - 9.10pm

Pricing Effective from 29 January 2020
 Prepaid 6 lessons - $70 per person
$50 student rate (with ID)
Casual price - $15 per class (paid on the night)
$10 student rate (paid on the night)

If any Level 2 students wish to also take the Level 1 class, (and you are not a registered taxi dancer),
the additional class will only cost $5 per night.

Please note that your prepaid lessons do NOT have an expiry date.
So if you are away for whatever reason, you do not lose your credits.  

An email will be sent to all registered students on Monday mornings.
​This is to enable us to balance the classes.
Please ensure you register your intentions to attend by using the link on the email.
And please register by 1pm so that we have time to arrange taxi dancers.
